Yarn Yarn Everywhere Too Many Stitches To Knit...
Well I think I got food poisioning from Red Lobster in Waterford Lakes Shopping Plaza. I came home yesturday from ebing with Justin all worn out and I puked twice. It was either they gave me something from my food, or it was the food its self. Like the heavy on the creamy sauce Alfredo I had or I know no clue what the hell it was. Kicked My Ass is what it did.
So did I mention I have the beeper this week. Ya, Doc is out of town for a wedding in LA and well it hasn't been going off alot. Total of 5 times so far, but its just the whiney drug addict patients he has that flip out when you say Doc is not in and well their whole world comes crashing down at that moment and its your problem now.
I told two of the patients to call me Monday or Tuesday cause I could not help them out till I was in the office. Hello People this is my weekend, I'm not at work.
Didn't sleep much last night but I did get up at 5:15 am to slap some make-up on me and slip into my slippers (yes I went out in my pj's) to Sip and Knit yarn sale. I was 6th in line and she had a good turn out for 6 am opening. About 50 some odd ladies were there and buying yarn like it was going out of style at the end of the year. I bought mom and I some yarn. Not too much. I spent $100 on it and that will last me until Halloween with projects planned.
That is if Florida has a Halloween. If there is a Florida left. Is this going to be a tri-weekly event here in the Sunshine State?? What might you be asking am I talking about? Oh well alittle thing called a HURRICANE that is headed straight for us and will be here this weekend Saturday/Sunday. This thing is huge. Its a category 3 now but wait till it gets in the nice warm water closer to the coast and then it will grow bigger, faster and get pissy and pee all over Florida.
Ya, ya there is a slight margin for error or change but from last night to this morning that margin got smaller. It might actually look at north Florida, which would be where Caroline is at school now. She left Saturday afternoon and has already informed mom that if something happens her and all 3 of her roommates are coming to stay at the house.
Okay here is where acting like a grown-up and not like that inner child that all of us has. The inner child is rooting for the big masty hurricane to come and hit Florida cause it would be cool and well hopefully no work/school. Then there is the adult version. Hell no stay away, your paying for all your stuff by yourself. You do not want something to come and damage your apartment/home, car or any of your belongings.
I guess we'll just have to sit and wait and see where this Big Sista' Frances is heading for her weekend date. Now I am also thinking of the many streets still with piles upon piles of tree limbs and debri, that shit will become airborne in a storm like this and well I would not be caught dead outside to see a tree limb get impaled in my back, chest and or head. Those will become Weapons of Mass Distruction. Atleast my moms street is cleaned up, where I live still looks like a jungle.
