So ummm what are you doing this weekend?

7 a.m. this morning I'm dragging my ass out of bed to pee and I hear someone knocking on my door. I think its all in my head and then I hear my name called. It was my landlord and well the city finally made it to our street to clean up the Deadly Weapons of Mass Distruction that lay on all sides of the road. So I had to haul ass throw some scrubs on and move my van out from the street.

Did that and now here I am at work. I watched the news last night at 11 p.m., to see where Hurricane Charley's sister Frances was going to be heading. In our way. Ya, Ya it could still turn but I doubt that even though I would like to see it turn, I am in no mood to have to deal with no power, phones, work and well the whole did my house survive and is my car crushed under a tree.

The local news station here which I watch religiously WESH Channel 2 news. I love and trust Dave Marsh, they keep plugging their web site for the latest information on Hurricane Frances and well being tossed out of my apartment to early this morning, I did not get to see the lastest prediction of Hurricane Frances and where the hell she was. So of course. I go to WESH.com and the only stuff they have on their website is from 8 pm last night. WTF??!!!

This also happened to me Friday the 13th when Charley was coming, I checked there site right before I left work and nothing had changed but when I got home it was a Catagory 4 and had turned to early and well Orlando was right in his path. Bottom line they should'nt preach, plug whatever their website, if no one is gonna update it for like hours upon hours. Hire some tech nerd and then we'll all be up on the latest right when it happens.

Weather.com from The Weather Channel is where I got the impending doom news of Hurricane Frances. This bitch is 170 miles wide. It's going to EAT Florida like it was a Twinkie and we are the creamy filling. I still have not decided on if I will go to my parents again. I might want to wait it out at my place since I'm sure it will strengthen and get more power behind it. But I dont want my van in Winter Park at all because it will be crushed like a pack of Oreo cookies that randonly falls off a store counter. I have no clue. I'll probably go over to their house anyways. Safer in numbers.

I Really Like: The Chicken Select Strips from McDonalds.
I Really Hate: Looking outside my office window and seeing the same piece of roofing metal in a tree and thinking it could decapate someone in 1 second if it became airborn in another storm.
Wondering: If there will be "I Survived Hurricane Frances" T-shirts.
