2004-09-04 at 8:22 a.m.

Stepped outside this morning and there was a nice cool breeze out there. It felt very nice, but it came along with an erie quietness. Dad had me take a few pictures of things we didnt think were gonna be standing after this thing come rolls thru, when ever she makes her way over to us.

Speaking of that, she is now at 6 mph and there saying 2 am Sunday she'll make landfall, even though we will have been feeling the outer bands and everything. I'm ready for a sleepless night.

I had a dream the hurricane stayed on the coast and traveled north to hit Georgia instead of us. I had this feeling something had changed with it. Nope. Just my wishful thinking and dreaming.

My sisters cat was all about attention last night. Kept head butting me while I was trying to sleep. He misses my sister. He's such a baby. I wrote a short story last night titled His Truth. I will share it with you all at another time, I really don't feel like typing it on here. But wait, maybe sometime today I will be bored and do so.

I feel like I should be doing something like putting plywood up, but everything is done were just sitting like everyone else and waiting.

It feels like a Sunday. With yesturday feeling like a Saturday I'm all mixed up and dont know what day it is. I'm sneezing every 5 seconds. I better not get another sore throat, like I did after Charley. Damn pollen in the air.

Wonder if we'll get the fresh smell of pine when we open our doors after the worst of the storm has gone by like with Charley?? That I will never forget. With that time for breakfast. Toast and Diet Coke anyone??
