An Unexpected Gift with a Visit...
I'm sitting here and BigDaddy calls me to tell me he's outside the office. I get this huge grin on my face and then I see my mother pull in after him. He waits till she drops off my phone charger (I haven't told her about him yet, due to the Hurricane excitement over the weekend).
The next thing I know there is BigDaddy at the window by my desk with a vase full of flowers. My favorite colors too. I was in shock. I never thought of this. I was speechless... yes Jenn was actually speechless and a loss for words. I almost started to cry. He is so good to me.
He read everything from my past to present in my blogs and remembered I had put on my 10 things to do before I die list was to get flowers "Just Because"... he signed the card that way to. God, finally something right in my life. I thank my lucky stars for him.
We sat and talked and looked at blogs then it started raining and he left his windows down due to the hot Florida weather and well that was the end of our nice little visit. Sighhhh... what a great afternoon I've just had.
